My senior thesis presentation which explores the recyclability of common packaging materials and peoples access to the processing of those recyclable materials.
I collected all of my recyclables for 3 months. I wanted to give people a visual understanding of one person's impact. I noticed the vast majority of what I was accumuating was packaging materials.
I wanted to provide a resource distilling information about packaging materials. I hoped that through the learning process participants will become more concious of what packagings they purchase.
Through the creation of the booklet I wanted to demonstrate the labor that goes into the personal, municipal, and production aspects of the recycling loop.
Using the I Wanna Recycle web page (morganlindsey.net/iwannarecycle). Participants can complete the guide and learn what and where materials are accessable to be recycled in their community.
